- Chemical Dependency Treatment - 12 Step program based on Alcoholics Anonymous and the Disease Concept for alcoholism and drug dependency. Separate programs for adults and adolescents.
- Psychiatric Treatment Program - a high quality, low cost, short term, intensive treatment program provided to all adult psychiatric patients, including severe depression, suicidal, difficult and dangerous and combative assaultive. Includes an individualized treatment plan and family therapy.
- Adolescent Treatment Unit - accepts adolescents ages 12 through 18. A multidisciplinary treatment model addresses the adolescents; physical, emotional, intellectual, educational and social functioning including family treatment.
- Child Treatment Unit - accepts children ages 5 through 11. A multidisciplinary treatment model addresses the child's physical, emotional intellectual, educational and social functioning, including family treatment.
- Outpatient Counseling - services for all ages that are not in need of intensive inpatient counseling.

A multi-disciplinary team model focuses on physical, emotional, intellectual, educational and social functioning, including family treatment. A Challenge ROPES style course is utilized in treatment.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Wyoming Independent Living Rehabilitation, Inc. (WILR) is a registered, private, non-profit agency whose purpose is to provide people with severe disabilities the opportunity to obtain, maintain or increase their independence.
INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES: Independent Living Services are consumer-oriented and individualized, based on that persons need for independence. The consumer decides what they need. A variety of direct and referred services are offered.
Core Services are provided without cost and include: information and referral; independent living skill training; peer counseling, including cross-disability peer counseling; individual and systems advocacy; and AT and home modifications.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Presence of significant disability; disability severely interferes with independent living; reasonable expectation that services will enable the individual to obtain/maintain/increase independence.
Fees: No demand fees; consumers are encouraged to contribute to their rehabilitation program.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Federally funded non-profit law office, which provides legal services in civil matters to low-income individuals in Wyoming. 2000 case priorities are: public benefits (e.g., SSI; welfare), domestic violence divorces, utilities, landlord/tenant, consumer debt (including bankruptcy), and impact litigation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Gross household income 125% of federal poverty level, plus must fit within case priorities.
Fees: No fees for services. Clients may have to pay court filing fees, service fees, and other litigation costs.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Wyoming Recovery provides comprehensive alcohol and drug addiction treatment for adults, adolescents and families. We offer Residential Inpatient services with 24-hour care in our 9-bed inpatient facility. Our inpatient care includes individual and group therapy, involvement in twelve-step meetings, MD groups, education sessions and family therapy. Detoxification Treatment (Detox) is offered for our Residential Inpatient clients that require this level of care. Clients in Day Treatment at Wyoming Recovery, attend four hours or more of sessions Monday through Friday. These sessions include individual and group therapy, involvement in twelve-step meetings, MD groups, education sessions and family therapy. Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) consists of three, three hours sessions Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. IOP sessions include step work, education and family therapy. Our Relapse Prevention Group meets weekly for ten weeks and focuses on issues related to avoiding relapse. The services offered at Wyoming Recoverys Transitional Living Program are focused on developing the personal and recovery skills needed for TLP residents to effectively re-integrate with their home and community environment. These services include, group and individual therapy sessions, basic life and interpersonal skills building through information, counseling and education and relapse prevention, ongoing recovery support, sober living reinforcement and access to twelve-step meetings and attendance accountability. Because continuing care is so important to recovery, Wyoming Recovery offers a complete year of Aftercare for our graduates. Aftercare sessions assist the client in dealing with the realities of being sober, clean and serene in the "real world" environment.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: Billable insurance and/or ability to pay for services.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Senior Companion Program: link low-income stipend senior volunteers (to provide friendly visits and minor services) to homebound/disabled elderly and other adults to help them to remain in own home. Provides meaningful activities to volunteers and enhanced independence to homebound.
Family Caregiver Respite Program: Provides respite to persons caring for family members or others. Clients may receive up to thirty-two hours of respite care per month. Fees are based on a sliding scale, depending upon household size.
Employment programs assist low income seniors obtain and retain meaningful employment in the public and private sectors. Depending on the worker, can place eligible person into part-time subsidized work experience employment or into unsubsidized or on-the-job training position.
Long Term Care Ombudsman: Serves the residents of long term care facilities. These facilities include nursing homes, board and care homes, and residential care facilities. Services include receiving, investigating and attempting to resolve problems or complains effecting residents. Promotes community education and awareness of the needs of long term care residents.
WSHIIP Program: Provides consumer education and counseling. Promotes consumer understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare supplement, and long-term care insurance. Assists senior citizens in geeting more value from their health insurance dollars.
Senior Patrol Project (SPP): Provides consumer education to help fight Medicare/Medicaid fraud, abuse and waste. Promotes understanding of Medicare Summary Notices to assist in identifying errors in billing and services provided.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Senior Companion Program: 60 years of age and over and 125% of poverty or less for volunteers (Companion Services to anyone 21 years of age or older). Employment Program: OJT's - 55 years of age and older, 100% of poverty or less; subsidized employment - 55 years of age or older, 125% of poverty or less. WSHIIP anyone. Family Caregiver Respite Program; recipient must be 60 years of age or older; caregiver may be any age. Senior Patrol Project anyone.

SERVICES PROVIDED:
1. Investigations Pre-sentence investigations and dispositional reports are conducted to provide the sentencing court with timely, relevant and accurate data to identify the most appropriate sentencing alternative or correctional disposition and to serve the needs of any correctional institution or field agency which may receive the client. Pre-release and placement investigations are conducted to determine the viability of a client's proposed home, employment and educational plans prior to their release from state institutions or relocation from another state to Wyoming.
2. Supervision - the agents monitor the activities, behavior, attitudes, and progress of the client in compliance with the Court's, Institution's and Department's instructions.
3. Counseling - the agent offers suggestions to improve behavior and attitude in the process of rehabilitative and reintegrative services.
4. Referrals - the client is instructed to become active in programs that are appropriate to his needs. Close communication is maintained with the referred agency as to the client's progress.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System may be referred to this department for processing, if so ordered by the Courts or the Parole Board. Adults.

Application Procedure: Referrals are made through County and District Court as well as state correctional institutions and other states` probation and parole granting authorities. Services being provided vary from case to case depending on the individual needs. The Social Workers work with all public and private agencies and groups.
