Housing Center: 7 days per week/24 hours per day
SERVICES PROVIDED: Supportive housing for families with children or pregnant. Provides case management, counseling, supportive services and coordination with other human service agencies in the community.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be homeless with children or pregnant.
Fees: 30% of gross income includes all services and housing. $25 minimum/$250 maximum.
Staff: 1 Director, 1 Assistant Director, 1 Services Coordinator, 8 Resident Assistants and 2 Resident Aides.
Geographical Area Served: Casper Area. Serve many who change locations throughout the nation.
Application Procedures: Take referrals from other agencies and self-returns. Intake preference by greatest need.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Community Education and Information. Food and Fiber Production and Marketing - Education for rural and urban clientele. Programs are available for all persons engaged or interested in animal or plant production, management and machinery.
CNP (Cen$ible Nutrition Program) Provides education for families with limited resources in nutrition, meal planning, food buying and food safety. Food related activities are also provided for the children.
Family and Consumer Science - Provides education to enhance the quality of living for all families. Programs and information are available in nutrition, food preparation, preservation and safety, consumer education, money management, home environment, housing and home furnishing, human relations, child development, personal growth, clothing and textiles.
4-H/Youth - These programs offer young people "hands on" learning experience in animal, mechanical, arts and crafts, home economics, natural resources, and plant science projects. Members also develop skills in leadership, citizenship and community resource development.
The Agricultural Extension Service is the informal education and information branch of the University of Wyoming and is the community's link to the University of Wyoming and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Extension Office is the information center of UW and USDA publications. Extension resource persons (County Agents) are available for individual consultation and educational meetings for clubs, groups and organizations in the following areas: Agriculture; Horticulture; CNP; Home Economics; Community Development and 4-H Youth.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Persons seeking admission, employment or access to programs of the University of Wyoming shall be considered equally without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, political belief or handicap. All age groups.
Fees: Most programs and activities are free. Moderate fees apply to some offerings and educational material.
Staff: Consists of County Director/Agricultural Agent, 4-H Youth Agent, FCS Educator, Cen$ible Nutrition Program, Horticulturist, 4 secretaries and 4 nutrition educators.

SERVICES PROVIDED: The University of Wyoming Family Practice Residency Program - Casper provides an academic three (3) year family practice residency with obstetrics for rural and frontier medicine.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Graduates of an accredited medical school.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Provide information to veterans for training, counseling and employment opportunities. Assist veterans, veterans spouses and dependents in applying for benefits with the proper Federal or State agency. Investigate veteran reemployment rights complaints. .
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Any veteran who has received a discharge other than dishonorable, veteran's spouses or dependents.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED PROGRAM (VIP)

SERVICES PROVIDED: Provide independent living services to senior citizens age 55 or older who are blind or visually impaired. Services range from counseling and advocacy to the provision of adaptive equipment, support group referral and information and referral. Technical equipment available for short-term trial, i.e., closed circuit television, talking glucometers, etc.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Age 55 or older and blind or severely visually impaired - visual problem causes barrier(s) to independent living.
Fees: No demand fees; consumers encouraged to contribute to their rehabilitation program.
Staff: 8-Activities of Daily Living Specialists and Lead VIP Specialist.

Application Procedures: Must document a visual disability with medical report.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: (1) Presence of a documented impairment that (2) constitutes a vocational impediment to employment and (3) a reasonable expectation that services will result in employment.
Fees: Not applicable, However, clients are asked to contribute to their ability to assure goal attainment.
Staff: Consists of 5 counselors, 3 secretaries and 1 regional manager
Geographical Area Served: Natrona County; 17 Vocational Rehabilitation offices located statewide
