SERVICES PROVIDED:

Pre-school - Hours 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.. Students may register for Monday-Friday; Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday - Thursday programs. Classes are divided by age in four groups. We are a developmental program, which includes a daily devotion time, bible study, reading readiness, discovery, experiential problem solving, and creating skills along with gross and fine muscle activities. Centers and activities are incorporated around weekly themes. Every other week the children attend Natrona County Library for a story hour. A monthly calendar with events and highlights is posted for parent viewing. Parent conferences are held one a year or when scheduled by teacher and/or parent. Daily outside play and a nutritious snack are also provided.

Day Care - There are two options for day care: Full-time or part-time children may arrive any time after 6:45 a.m. and remain up until 6:00 p.m.. Full day includes pre-school from 9-11:30, two snacks and milk served with lunch (provided by child). Quiet time is from 1:00 to 2:00 or 3:00 p.m.. Afternoon learning activities are provided. Half-day services also include afternoon learning activities, snack, outdoor play, and quiet time. Day Care also includes language arts, free choice in the areas of socio-dramatic play, small and large muscle, science, library, music and a nutritious snack. Day care is available for kindergarten children with transportation provided by the parent.

Efforts are made to accommodate parents’ schedules within the hours noted above.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: A child must be at least 3 years of age by December 31st the year in which he/she enrolls. We accept part-day kindergartners before and after school. Admits students of any handicap, religion, race, and color, national and ethnic origin.

Fees: $330 full time child care, rates vary with hours the child is here.

Staff: Consists of a Director, 4 Teachers (College Educated or B.S. qualified) and 2 Teacher's Aides. All staff members must have former experience with children.

Accreditation and Licenses: State certified. Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Program from NAEYC.

Application Procedures: An enrollment form along with a $30.00 non-refundable registration fee must be completed for each child. An Official Record of Immunization along with a health card must be completed and be on file. Our Saviour’s does accept Department of Family Services clients.

Physically/Mentally Handicapped Care - Provides a home with observation at night and weekends. The person providing care usually works in the community during the day.

Weekend Care - Custodial care on a weekend if the caregiver desires to have the weekend free.

Dorothy Porter Special Care Center - provides 24-hour care for Alzheimer/dementia residents. Alzheimer's Support Group currently operational.

Progressive Care Unit - provides 24 hour skilled nursing care and sub-acute care with physical, occupational and speech therapies available, and respiratory therapy and wound care.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Must have a physician's order to admit. Must be 21 years of age. Under that age, permission must be obtained from the state.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Admissions: Do interview and application process for enrollees, collect documentation, provide initial counseling regarding center and trade choices and regulations. Outreach: Provide information to surrounding area of northeastern Wyoming about Job Corps.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Proof of age: 16-24, legal U.S. Resident; must want to enroll and follow Job Corps rules; write an essay focusing on career goals; sign No-Tolerance policies for drugs, alcohol and violence; either have no court appearance pending/fines owed or be released by the court to enter Job Corps; meet federal income guidelines: 1) on public assistance; 2) based on individual income if 18 or over or not living with parents if under 18; 3) based on family income if living at home and under 18. Medical and behavioral history required in some cases; consent to initial and random drug/alcohol testing. Parental consent if under 18. New enrollees must complete a 30 day probationary period at their training center as well.
