SERVICES PROVIDED: CAC is an adult co-ed residential and non-residential facility. We evaluate our residents' needs and refer them to outside agencies for counseling. Residents are required to seek employment and receive employment counseling if necessary. Weekly AA/NA meetings are held at our Agency. Our facility provides the resident with a place to live, eat and help him/her to learn how to live in the community again. For the Diversional (Court sentenced) resident, we provide a chance to stay in the community as opposed to serving time in jail or prison. The Diversional resident receives the same types of counseling as the transitional resident. The non-residential residents are required to be in contact with the Agency on a daily basis; non-residential residents are offered the same types of counseling that is available to our in-house residents. The goal of CAC is to provide this alternative within a highly structured environment, which promotes individual accountability, responsibility, positive self-development and assists residents to prepare for and adjust to independent living.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Felony and Transitional Offenders referred through the Department of Corrections (DOC), Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBP), and misdemeanors referred through the County, the City of Casper, the City of Mills, and the City of Evansville. The majority of these referrals are reviewed and voted on for placement by the Natrona County Community Corrections Board (NCCCB).

Staff: Assistant Director, 3 Shift Supervisors, 18 Resident Managers, Case Manager Supervisor, 6 Case Managers, Resident Account Advisor, Administrative Assistant, 4 Support Staff, 1 Food Service Supervisor, 4 Cooks, and 1 full-time Maintenance Person.

Accreditation or Licenses: Administration and Natrona County.
